Saturday Brunch @ Il Bastardo

So apparently, the place to be on an early Saturday afternoon in NYC is Il Bastardo on 21st  Street and 7th Ave. From 12-4 you can unlimited champagne, mimosas, screwdrivers or bloodmaries for $20.00! The result of that: a crazy dance party with a lot of girls and music provided by DJ DirtyBoogie and Gringo Starr of ENS. The brunch menu is also very good. I just really enjoyed my time taking photos there… Oh yes, photos! Down Below. :)

bring more viewers to my website and that makes me happy =D. With that said, I took the photos of many beautiful people at this House Party/Bar-be-que on Staten Island (my hometown) and it was an amazingly fun time that was thrown by Destinee and Leah. It rained but we kept on partying. If you were there, get your photo from the slideshow. If you weren’t, look at the slideshow and wish you were there :P

Thirstdayz

Last night I strolled up into this really low-key spot in the Lower East Side called Chloe 81 for their Thirstdayz party. DirtyBoogie and Peabody were on the 1 & 2 spinning a lot of old school house music and the party was hosted by Gringo Star (of Everybody Needs Sound) and Samn. And here are the snapshots of the beautiful people last night.

Sound Therapy EP Release Party

Last night was a fairly epic show. Presice finally drop his EP, Sound Therapy, and last night was the EP release party at Santos Party House. He had amazing performing acts – James Rich (featuring Swizzy Swinton), Nello Luchi, r.O.b, Audra the Rapper and Himself (featuring Wordspit, Dremur, and David E. Beats). The bar had a Tyku special and promotional G-Camp snapbacks were handed out. I took some amazing dope photos of the event which is below. Also below is the EP which you can download through DatPiff.com.

Last night after the Presice Sound Therapy Album release party (check last post), I crashed the Villainous New York party (I didn’t actually crash it – I payed $5 to get in). It was a good time and I caught some great photos – check it out! (and visit their website website www.villainousnewyork.blogspot.com)

Valentine’s Day

So I finally self published something on Amazon. It’s a short story that has been published in City College of New York’s annual literary compilation book, Prometheus, titled Valentine’s Day. It’s written in the second person about a bullied and tormented 2nd-grader who wants to give the only girl that is nice to him a Valentine’s Day gift but runs into some adversity even on his special day. This book is bit autobiographical with creative liberties. It costs $.99 on amazon or it’s free if you’er an Amazon Prime member and if you click the book cover illustration below (illustrated by my brother, Rilwan Kujenya) then it’ll take you to buy the book on Amazon for your Kindle device (or if you don’t have a kindle device, you can always get the cloud reader depending on your browser). I hope you support and purchase and write good reviews if you like it.

Get Ya’ Head Right

This new music video I co-produced and directed has been out for a couple of weeks. I haven’t put it on my website because I wanted to upload to my website and embed it that way but the uploader has been buggy (at least for this video). So here is the YouTube vid instead.

It’s a music video for Presice’s new single Get Ya Head Right off The Sound Therapy EP. It was really fun to shoot and we literally partied for the while we Greenhouse NYC rented out. Enjoy the vid, leave a comment and perhaps the next party music video I’ll cast YOU in it. :)
